DESIGN STORY
An overflowing toilet causing the tile to crack in the client’s master bathroom and closet was the breaking point for a remodel. The existing space was your typical 90s bathroom in dire need of updating, featuring a built in jacuzzi tub under a glass block window trimmed in gold, next to a small gold framed shower, and a multi height L-shaped vanity with impractical storage.
With a focus on maximizing storage and efficiency, I meticulously designed a long dusty blue vanity with numerous pull outs with plugs for specific items such as their electric toothbrush chargers and hair tools, various heights of interior drawers for products, a shared trough sink and a floor to ceiling linen cabinet. The closet with high ceilings allowed for a triple row of hanging, giving the clients maximum storage for their space.
I created a wet area to enlarge the shower with multiple spa experience zones. Vibrant polished nickel fixtures with classic lines gave a sensation of nostalgia and simplicity along with a black claw foot tub that provides the perfect slope for the back and neck maximizes comfort and relaxation. The combination of these elements is a recipe for a timeless and functional bathroom remodel.
