LET’S FIGURE OUT HOW ALL THE PIECES FIT TOGETHER.
Every design project comes with a lot of moving pieces. My job is to help you make sense of them—from the big-picture decisions that shape how a space functions to the materials, finishes, furnishings and details that bring it to life.
Whether you’re remodeling, building new, working from plans already in progress or simply trying to finish a space, the process starts by figuring out what your project needs.
Remodeling
Beautiful isn't enough. It has to work.
Whether you're updating a kitchen or bathroom, renovating an entire home or transforming a commercial space, a successful remodel should improve how the space functions, flows and feels—not simply how it looks. Remodeling comes with a lot of decisions, and those decisions rarely exist in isolation.
I help you work through the project as a whole, from space planning, cabinetry and architectural details to materials, finishes, fixtures and furnishings. Plans and 3D visualization help you understand the design before construction begins, while coordinated selections and specifications give your contractor and trades a clear picture of where the project is headed.
Thoughtful planning upfront can save time, prevent costly mistakes and help make sure the money you're investing is going toward the decisions that will have the greatest impact.
New construction
Make the big decisions while they’re still easy to change.
New construction may start with a blank slate, but the decisions that shape how your space will function happen earlier than you might think. Before the slab is poured and the sheetrock goes up, decisions about layout, cabinetry, plumbing, lighting and architectural details are already beginning to lock into place.
I help develop the interior alongside the construction process, thinking through how those decisions work together—and how they ultimately connect to the materials, fixtures, finishes and furnishings that complete the space. Making those connections early creates a more cohesive design and helps avoid having to compromise later because an important decision was made too late.
The earlier we think through the details, the more opportunity we have to get them right.
Furnishings + Styling
Good design isn’t something you simply see. It’s something you experience.
Furniture is only one part of that experience. Color, texture, form, scale and material all influence how a space feels, while the way those elements are layered and arranged shapes how it functions and how people move through it.
From furniture, rugs and decorative lighting to window treatments, art and accessories, I bring those individual elements together to create a space that feels considered, personal and complete.
Furnishings + Styling can be part of a larger design project or a place to begin when the architecture is already working and it’s everything inside the space that needs attention.
Because a furnished room and a finished room are not the same thing.
TAILORED TO YOUR PROJECT. FLEXIBLE BY DESIGN.
Professional design doesn’t have to mean handing over the whole project.
Some clients want a designer involved from the first idea through final installation. Others want help developing the design, making the right decisions and creating a clear plan they can take from there. My process is designed to work both ways.
Whether you’re starting from scratch, bringing architectural or builder plans or already have a project underway, we’ll begin with what you already have and determine what still needs to be developed.
From there, we can take the project as far as you need—from planning and visualization through selections and specifications, purchasing, construction and installation.
Start with clear direction. Continue with the support you need.
