This contemporary ranch house in Marble Falls received a complete makeover from top to bottom, inside and out. The front door was replaced with a custom arched double door from Durango Doors. The front driveway was upgraded to pavers, and the exterior stonework was lightened with an exterior diluted white wash. The main floor received stunning oversized tile, fresh paint and upgraded lighting throughout the space. We designed a custom storage bench at the top of the entry stairs with hog panel insert with custom wood monogram and top guard rail. We replaced the French doors and transom windows to the balcony with huge12ft wide by 10ft high sliding glass doors for an expansive view of the lake and providing abundant natural light. The living room fireplace received a facelift, removing the hearth, extending the stone to the floor, blending and lightening the overall look with an over-mortar and wash technique.

The kitchen area was reimagined to increase circulation flow, functionality, storage and aesthetics. Custom milk chocolate stained white oak cabinets embellished with black stainless knurled hardware give a touch of contemporary ranch, while the stunning Taj Mahal quartzite countertops on the large island balance the look with a sophisticated classic feel. Panel ready KitchenAid appliances including a full size side by side refrigerator freezer combo add to an already a seamless and polished look. A serving bar was added next to the breakfast nook for additional storage and counter space. Full height storage cabinets between the kitchen and dining room act as the new pantry area and include a pull out across from the oven for easy access to cooking ingredients. The flow of the kitchen was opened to the dining room which features a cantilevered bump out for the clients china cabinet to increase the circulation around the table. The room also received new lighting, rug and window treatments.

The master bathroom area was expanded by connecting the adjacent home office room with a pocket door to house her separate vanity, custom built in closet with island, a built in desk and a walk through directly to the laundry room. The main bathroom features a top of the line heated walk in jacuzzi tub with all of the bells and whistles and adjacent TV creates a comfortable place to unwind that also provides safe easy access for aging in place. The shower space was maximized with two sided glass for light transference, multiple shower heads for a unique showering experience and a grab bar for added safety. The vanity areas were designed with dark chocolate knotty alder cabinets and dimmable, color temperature changing LED mirrors. The Kohler Vibrant Brushed Bronze plumbing and hardware fixtures give a warm elegance against the natural inspired finishes throughout the bathroom area.

Adjacent to the laundry room, the powder bath was upgraded with a custom vanity design with a thick concrete slab look countertop, a custom ribbed tile design with wall mount faucet, and lighting. The stairs and upstairs guest rooms received new flooring, paint, and fixtures.

The downstairs the game room, bunk room, and bar all received new paint, fixtures and furnishings. A custom wood paneling accent was added to define and anchor the bar and living area from the pool table area. A lovesac sectional provides flexibility for multiple layout options including extra sleeping spaces for grandchildren. The pool bathroom got a complete transformation in which the vanity and shower got rearranged to provide better flow, new fixtures, and tile that brightens and invigorates the space.
